HOW TO GET OUT OF BED READY TO KILL IT

Do you ever feel like just staying in bed morning? Like you’re just being dragged through life? No joy in what you do or not bothered for your day? Waking up with no desire to smash the day is going to lead you down a path of sadness. From what I’ve gathered from clients to friends and even myself is that getting out of bed happily and determined is from a desire to progress in life, developing everyday to be better than yesterday.

So if you want to stop hitting that snooze and make your day as good as possible. We are going to discuss some potential ways to get out of bed ready to kill it.

PLAN YOUR DAY THE NIGHT BEFORE

Most people think a good day starts on that day. Well, in my opinion good day often starts with the night before. From planning out your schedule the night before to getting to sleep at a reasonable time, makes all the difference. Having structure and being well organised in your day to day life is going to give you a sense of power over yourself, so instead of being dragged through life, you're in control and doing whats best for you.

STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA

Whilst social media can be an entertaining, informative and educational tool it is also a big reasoning a lot of humans face anxiety and depression. We see everyone all over social media living their 'best lives’ (but are they really?), and we consume all this information giving us a sense of not being good enough. Use social media wisely, and don’t let it control you.

ORGANISE EVERYTHING FOR THE NEXT DAY

Organising your belongings needed for the next day is going to help you feel more in control of your life. Some things like packing your lunch bag completely, or having your clothes prepared on your desk or having your belongings you take to work ready is going to help you have more structure, giving you a sense of following the direction you believe is right.

PRACTICE GRATITUDE

Practicing gratitude to your everyday life is going to give you a sense of gratefulness. Appreciating what you have and being thankful is going to put you in a more positive mindset, giving you more peace with your everyday. Some strategies to practice gratitude is writing down a few things whether that be first thing in the morning or before bed of what you're thankful for, or showing more appreciation to those around you.

HAVE AN KILLER MORNING ROUTINE

Something I’ve found over the years, that has really helped me gather some motivation for my days is my morning routine. There is no right or wrong morning routine, but I believe being consistent with a healthy morning routine that will set you up for success. Some things to think about incorporating into your mornings can be from a simple 10 minute walk, too jumping into a cold shower. Think about incorporating exercise, mindfulness, or some educational content.

Waking up feeling your best is no overnight task. It takes dedication and consistency to feel appreciation for the path you are on. Remember to incorporate some on these into your days and in no time you will be ready to kill the day. Find your reasoning to wake up and tackle each day head on.
